JW Baron Coastworks specialist plant fleet includes standard and long reach excavators and other amphibious equipment with bespoke attachments, low ground pressure tracked dumpers, a mini tracked crane as well as small work boats and road transportable pontoons.
Our NATO, Linkflote and aluminium bridging pontoons can be simply assembled in different configurations, providing a floating work/access platform.
Pontoons offer the perfect solution for mobilising in areas with limited access and are suitable for projects on inland waters, estuaries and near shore projects.
Working closely with our sister company J.W. Baron Earthworks we have access to a wide range of the latest plant and equipment, including standard and long reach excavators (all equipped with Bio – degradable Hydraulic oil) that are available with a wide range of specialist attachments as well as bulldozers, tracked dumpers and articulated dump trucks.

These strong and robust units reduce water resistance on the flat sides and ends of a Linkflote pontoon. The 30º angular shape deflects the water flow under the linkflote aiding buoyancy.
9 sections, (3 swim ends and 6 mid sections)
Complete with spud legs, bollards and handrails.
These are configured as two pairs or as a set of four creating a lightweight working platform ideal for sea wall repairs / inspections ect.
