Helford Coast Path

A section of the cliff below the coast path collapsed leaving the path above vulnerable.

We successfully tendered for the repair and mobilised to site.

As is often the case,  access was limited and work had to be fitted in around the tides.

The collapsed material was carefully pulled back and then used to create a temporary working platform.

Similar stone to the surrounding walls was sourced locally and a new section of wall, tying in with the existing, was built by our skilled stonemasons.

New Kee Klamp hand rails were installed and the path reopened ready for the busy summer season.
